These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Priv Notes. By downloading and using this app, you agree to abide by the following terms:

1. License & Usage

• You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Priv Notes for personal note-taking.
• You may not modify, redistribute, or sell the app or its components.

2. User Responsibilities

• You are fully responsible for the content stored within the app.
• The app should not be used to store illegal, harmful, or offensive material.
• If your device is shared, ensure your data is protected appropriately.

3. Data Loss & Liability Disclaimer

As all data is stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for:

• Data loss due to accidental deletion, device failure, or app uninstallation.
• Any consequences resulting from lost or deleted notes.
• Passcode Recovery: If you secure your local backups with a passcode, you are solely responsible for remembering that passcode. Because we do not store your passcode or backups on any servers, we cannot recover or reset your passcode if you forget it.
• Reminder Delivery: To-Do alerts and timer notifications are managed locally by your device operating system. We are not liable for any missed, delayed, or failed reminders resulting from system battery optimizations, device restarts, or OS-level background limitations.

4. No Warranty & Limitation of Liability

• Priv Notes is provided "as is", with no guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• We are not liable for any damages, data loss, or issues arising from the use of this app.

5. Updates to Terms

• We may update these Terms & Conditions as needed. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the revised terms.
