About Shadow Ronin

Shadow Ronin is a premium, stylized endless runner game designed to immerse players in a feudal Japanese aesthetic. Our goal is to blend simple, high-speed reflexive swipe controls with the deep, slow-paced visual storytelling of traditional brushwork art.

Our Artistic Direction: Sumi-e

Unlike modern games that rely on high-fidelity 3D models and intense ray-tracing, Shadow Ronin takes a step back. The visuals are inspired by Sumi-e (墨絵), the traditional Japanese art of ink wash painting that dates back hundreds of years.

Our artists hand-painted vector assets to capture the bleeding textures of black ink on raw washi paper. Every slash of your sword and every gust of wind on the snowy mountain peaks is animated to look like a fresh brush stroke.

The Developer
