Shadow Ronin is a side-scrolling endless ninja runner game, styled in traditional Japanese Sumi-e brush wash art. Players dodge spikes, slide under barricades, slash shadow guards, and combat elite fortress bosses at distance milestones.
You can unlock items in the Shop in two ways:
- Spend gold coins collected directly during your endless runs.
- Watch rewarded video ads in the main menu to earn large sums of bonus currency instantly.
All progress, scores, unlocked weapons, and cosmetics are stored locally inside your device storage memory. On Android, this uses the secure SharedPreferences system. On iOS, it uses UserDefaults. We do not host user accounts on online databases to maximize player privacy and speed.
Because Shadow Ronin operates 100% offline without cloud accounts, uninstalling the app, factory resetting your device, or clearing app cache data through system settings will permanently wipe all your scores and unlocks. We cannot recover lost coins or inventory for you.
To comply with COPPA guidelines, the game queries the Google Play Services API. If the system signals that the logged-in Google Play Games account belongs to a child or minor under supervision, the game automatically locks into Child-Safe Mode. Personalized ad profiling is turned off, and AdMob is forced to serve only child-safe contextual ads rated 'G'.
Yes, Shadow Ronin supports native gamepads and Bluetooth controllers on both Android and iOS. You can use the D-Pad or Left Stick to move/dodge and the primary face buttons to jump, double-jump, and execute sword slashes.
To delete all data on Android, open Settings > Apps > Shadow Ronin > Storage > Clear Data. For iOS, uninstall the application from your home screen. For diagnostic logs or manual reviews, visit our dedicated Data Deletion page.
